HD-Ready

 

The requirement to view high-definition movies and HDTV,
is that your TV or projector is less than "HD-ready".
This means that the resolution is at least 720i

HD-ready does not mean that the material can be displayed in
Full-HD resolution, but such material is only shown in
the TV or projector's maximum resolution!



              Minimum requirements for HD-Ready:
At least 720 natural widescreen lines.
Manages HDTV signals via analog YPbPr1 input.
Manages HDTV signals via DVI or HDMI inputs, supporting HDCP.
Manages formats: 1280x720 at 50Hz and 60Hz (progressive, "720p")
and 1920x1080 at 50Hz and 60Hz (interlaced, "1080i").
